Designed for double dose (60g) decoction.

Preparation

1. 20g of freshly ground medium dark roast coffee (espresso/omni roast profile). The grind size should be fine (9/10 clicks on Comandante coffee grinder)

2. 100g of soft filtered water

Brewing Instructions

1. Add 20g of ground coffee. Use the given WDT tool for distributing the coffee evenly.

2. Fix the shower head, add 40g of water evenly, swirl the brewer to get an even bed and let the coffee bloom for 30-45 seconds.

3. Add remaining 60g of water slowly without agitating the coffee bed.

4. Let it percolate for about 10 mins.

5. Collect 60g decoction from the bottom chamber. 

Serving Guidelines

Traditionally, South Indian Filter Coffee is had with hot whole dairy milk (1:2 - 1:3 ratio). However, feel free to play around with the ratios and other milk alternatives.
